In case you missed it, Trevor?s book is called Born a Crime and unpacks what it was like to grow up during the twilight years of the apartheid regime. Oprah?s close friend, Gayle King, asks Trevor about his relationship with his mother, which he mentions in the book and he says ?South Africa was a nation raised by women.?
