With the release of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" later this year, Lucasfilm will take its first step in creating standalone films within the larger narrative universe the franchise. And the Disney-owned company already has plans for more endeavors, most notably its next project, which will follow a young cocky pilot as he evolves into the character we all know and love as Han Solo.
