Singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen has died at the age of 82. The announcement was made on his official Facebook page on Thursday. The statement on his Facebook page said, "It is with profound sorrow we report that legendary poet, songwriter and artist, Leonard Cohen has passed away. We have lost one of music?s most revered and prolific visionaries." A memorial for Cohen will take place in Los Angeles at a later date. He was best known for his bass voice and haunting, poetic lyrics. His final album, You Want It Darker, was released this year.
