Twentieth Century Fox has picked up the comedy "Turned On," which has "Ghostbusters" Director Paul Feig attached as producer. The pilot script revolves around a brilliant but awkward engineer who creates an android to help her deal with life's difficult situations. But things soon spiral out of control when the robot becomes self-aware. Feig and Fox are reported to have been attracted to the script written by by Charlie Kesslering because it features a strong role for a lead actress.
