"West Wing" creator Aaron Sorkin wrote a letter to his 15-year-old daughter criticizing president-elect Donald Trump and the type of supporters he has attracted. His letter, which was published in Vanity Fair, spoke of the glamorization of "abject dumbness." He wrote that "hate was given hope" but assures his daughter that "Our darkest days have always?always?been followed by our finest hours" and that "America didn?t stop being America" due to Trump's election.
