Ray Liotta Bradley Cooper is making his directorial debut with the musical feature. Ray Liotta is in talks to join Lady Gaga in A Star Is Born. The Goodfellas actor also will be joining Bradley Cooper in the musical remake, which will act as the American Sniper actor's directorial debut. Jon Peters, Bill Gerber and Basil Iwanyk are set to produce alongside Cooper. Warner Bros. on Wednesday dated the feature for a Sept. 28, 2018, release. Liotta (Field of Dreams) recently wrapped filming on Matthew Coppola's Alone, in which he stars opposite Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones).
