This week, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige confirmed in an interview with Toronto Sun that actor Michael Keaton is in fact playing the villain The Vulture in Spiderman: Homecoming. This is the first time that anyone directly involved with the film has confirmed the role, despite the fact that it had been heavily speculated, assumed, and reported. Early reports for the main villain of the new Spiderman movie named Keaton as the top choice for the role, and he eventually nabbed it after previously falling out of talks. Keaton's confirmation did not come with any official word regarding his character, but once Vulture was revealed to be the main bad guy to face Spiderman, Marvel fans predicted this would be the case.
