The previously scheduled Dec. 2 opening of Halle Berry's Kidnap has been indefinitely postponed by Relativity Media. The film was one of the three movies the embattled studio dated after emerging from bankruptcy in April. But the studio has endured a series of upheavals since exiting Chapter 11, including the lackluster releases The Disappointments Room and Masterminds. Last month, CEO Ryan Kavanaugh quietly put the studio up for sale. Producers for Kidnap long sought for the film to be released so that another studio could release the film.
