The New Zealand singer-songwriter just turned 20, and opened up about her emotions related with leaving her teen years. She explained that she made the choice to withdraw from the spotlight, and said: "I turned inwards to my friends, my family, towards this moment, so I could learn more about who I was." She added that she's spent the past year working on her second album.
