We have word that Rami Malek is going to play the legendary singer Freddie Mercury in the long over-due film biopic. Malek just received an Emmy for his role in the hit TV show Mr. Robot. However, Malek wasn?t the first choice for the role. As Graham King was originally working on the film, he had Sacha Baron Cohen cast as Mercury. Bryan Singer posted to Instagram stating how excited he was for Malek to be playing such an iconic role.
