A day after winning a CMA Award, country singer Miranda Lambert wrote "a lengthy Instagram message to her social media naysayers" after receiving nasty comments on a picture she posted of herself with her boyfriend Anderson East. Her message was posted as a caption to a picture of Lambert riding her horse. She wrote, "Thank y'all for reminding me why I read books, write songs, and spend most of my time with animals and people I trust and love." She also quoted Maya Angelou writing, ""Words are things. You must be careful..."
