Quentin Tarantino Quentin Tarantino Confirms Retirement After Two More Films Nearly 15 years ago, an unknown director by the name of Quentin Tarantino quietly released his first film, Reservoir Dogs. Two years, later Tarantino burst onto the scene with Pulp Fiction where his unique way of storytelling and dependence on engaging dialogue made him one of the rising stars in Hollywood. Since then, Tarantino has released six movies (although Kill Bill was released as two parts), with some of his bigger films just coming out over the past few years.
