While on a promotional tour for his newest movie, "Hacksaw Ridge", director Mel Gibson opened up about his 2004 epic drama, "The Passion of the Christ." Gibson called the film the best thing he's ever done. The movie, which depicts Jesus' final 12 hours on earth, grossed $612 million dollars worldwide. The film has become iconic among Christians for it's gory and gruesome portrayal of crucifixion. Some believers take a vow to watch 'Passion' on each of Lent's 40 days.
