Today (Nov. 3, 2016), the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced that 29-time Golden Globe nominee Meryl Streep will be receiving the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille award at next year?s ceremony for ?outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.? Besides her nominations, she has eight Golden Globe wins. ?It?s no surprise that the HFPA has chosen Meryl Streep as the recipient of the 2017 Cecil B. DeMille Award,? said HFPA president Lorenzo Soria, via Variety.
