According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer and producer David S. Goyer has signed a two-year first-look deal for his Phantom Four banner with IM Global Television. Under the IM Global deal, Goyer has already set his first new project: an LAPD anthology titled Golden State. The drama tells the story of the LAPD over 150 years, beginning with the department's founders and ending with the 1990s and the Los Angeles Riots. In a statement on the deal, Goyer said this week, "Because the television landscape is changing so quickly and dramatically, I wanted to find partners who were nimble, who could partner with any buyer, and who had a uniquely global outlook."
