During a Q&A session in London over the weekend, Michael Douglas reflected on his 1996 film The Ghost and the Darkness, which also starred Val Kilmer, and alleged that Kilmer was currently battling throat cancer. Douglas, who has dealt with throat cancer himself said, "Val was a wonderful guy who is dealing with exactly what I had, and things don't look too good for him." 56-year-old Kilmer took to Facebook to set the record straight on his health. In a statement, Kilmer wrote, "I love Michael Douglas but he is misinformed. The last time I spoke to him was almost two years ago, when I asked him for a referral for a specialist to get a diagnosis for a lump in my throat... I have no cancer whatsoever."
