VIDEO : Bob Dylan's Nobel Prize Silence

Celebrity in this news:

Bob Dylan remained silent for two weeks after he won the Nobel Prize in literature. This reportedly upset the committee chair, Per Wastberg, who told Swedish press that his silence was "impolite and arrogant.? While some may read Dylan's silence as "contempt" others may see it as the perfect poetic gesture, in keeping with why he was awarded the prize in the first place. Many think that Dylan may see the award as "superfluous." Singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen said Dylan receiving a Nobel prize is ?like pinning a medal on Mount Everest for being the highest mountain.? Dylan did finally break his silence, only to say that the award left him "speechless." He has not RSVP'd yet to the official awards ceremony in Stockholm.
