Six months after the sudden death of this wife, actor and comedian Patton Oswalt is once again stepping onto the comedy stage. Oswalt's wife, Michelle McNamara, died unexpectedly back in April at the age of 46 and in a remarkably candid interview just before his November 3 appearance at the New York Comedy Festival, the actor opened up to the New York Times about how he?s found his way back to performing in the wake of personal tragedy. To combat his grief, Oswalt says that he has thrown himself into performing, beginning with a standup performance last month ahead of the Beacon Theater appearance in November. In the interview, Oswalt goes on to call performing ?a rebuke to grief," adding, "I?ll never be at 100 percent again, but that won?t stop me from living."
