Anna Camp's new series, 'Good Girl Revolt', is ready to premiere on Amazon Streaming TV. The series is based on a 2012 book by Lynn Povich?s about the events leading up to the landmark 1970 all-female class action lawsuit accusing the venerable Newsweek magazine of gender discrimination in hiring and promotion. The series resets the events at the fictional News of the Week magazine, the series features Camp as one of the publication?s talented female journalists fighting for equal pay, equal rights, and an end to sexual harassment and assault in the workplace. In a lengthy interview with the Daily Beast, Camp said the show is timely, considering the politics of 2016 and the comments made by Republican Candidate Donald Trump.
