Disney has hired the director of the Broadway musical, ?Hamilton,? and Ice Cube to collaborate and produce their own interpretation of the Charles Dicken?s musical, ?Oliver Twist.? The producers of this project are Jeff Kawtinetz and Marc Platt. Disney is also planning to produce a live-action version of the ?The Nutcracker.? It is being directed by Lasse Hailstorm, and the script was writing by Ashleigh Powell.
