Jim Parsons, best known for his role as Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," is producing a new sci-fi drama series for the CW. The series, called ?The Terranauts? is based on the novel of the same name by T. C. Boyle and will be written by Zach Helm.
?The Terranauts? follows eight scientists who are chosen to run a biosphere that will be vital for survival in an off-Earth colony for future generations, but things don't go as planned.
