After releasing a video parodying Beyonce's "Formation," comedienne Amy Schumer has been the target of much animosity via social media from people who argue that the parody is insensitive to the racial politics of the song. However, sources close to the stars have told CNN that Schumer had Beyoncé's blessing to use the song.
