Nicole Richie opened up in an essay for Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter, reflecting on what it's like to turn 35 and look back at her career. Richie "is now a successful fashion designer" but in the past she made some decisions that she admits were cringe-worthy. While she writes that she made some "bad decisions" she also doesn't want to hide from her past either. Richie writes, "It's important for me to have gratitude for that time, too. Not shame. Being ashamed of your life is not OK."
