Inferno, the third Dan Brown adaptation from director Ron Howard, is set to open in the U.S. this Friday. The film stars Tom Hanks as iconography expert Robert Langdon, who must stop a virus from being released and killing billions of people around the world. Costar Ben Foster says the film poses an interesting moral question about the survival of the human race. The actor recently told ScreenRant: "Hopefully we can all take personal responsibility, and we don?t need to be wiped out by some super-virus in protection of Mother Earth?s survival. But so far as a species we haven?t done that, and we?re heading for a very scary future. So hopefully, as entertaining as this film is, we can be left with some real ideas to chew on at the end of it."
