Actor Tom Hanks just hosted Saturday Night Live for the 9th time. His opening monologue was one of the most comforting things voters could listen to this election year. Just recently, Hanks was named "America's Dad" by a magazine. Although Hanks admitted that he would have preferred the "sexiest man alive" title, he fully accepts the responsibilites of being America's dad. In his opening monologue, he gave America a pep talk concering the election. "You are gonna be fine," he assured America, and added: "Remember when you went through that Depression? This is nothing! You're just growing up, and you're in an awkward phase."
