In May, Azealia Banks found herself in a heated Twitter war with Zayn Malik. The rapper accused the "Pillowtalk" singer of stealing her ideas, and when Malik responded, she lashed out in a racially-charged rant. Now, the rapper is making a public apology to Malik. After explaining that her outburst was caused by an unrelated tweet she mistook as a personal attack, she realized her mistake. She then proceeded to apologize to all those who were affected by her words. The letter comes just days after Banks demanded an apology from Russell Crowe after their alleged altercation over the weekend in which she is claiming the Oscar-winning actor "called her the 'N' word, choked her, threw her out and spat at her during a party. Crowe has not yet commented about the events of the evening.
