Director James Wan has a specific feel he wants for his 'Aquaman' movie, and it's a bit different than most recent superhero movies. Opting away from the dark-epic style of recent DC films like 'Batman V. Superman,' the filmmaker says his movie will be all about adventure. Wan said recently, The spirit that I'm going for is like a classic sort of swashbuckling action adventure, sort of high seas adventure story.
