Hundreds of people are mourning for Poland's leading filmmaker Andrzej Wajda. They are paying their respect by passing in silence before an urn with Wajda's ashes ahead of his funeral. Poland's President Andrzej Duda, foreign diplomats, intellectuals and actors are expected to attend the funeral Mass. Wajda died in a Warsaw hospital on October 9th at the age of 90. Wajda was just about to finish "Afterimage," his new film and Poland's entry for a foreign language Academy Award. He received an honorary lifetime achievement Oscar in 2000.
