According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leonardo DiCaprio?s production company Appian Way will produce a movie on the cartoon character 'Captain Planet after signing a deal with Paramount. Early sources indicate that the take on the character in the film may be different than what fans saw in the cartoon, however, as the plot reportedly finds Captain Planet as a ?washed up hasbeen who needs his sidekicks more than they need him.
