Natalie Portman is getting some Oscar buzz for her latest role as the iconic Jacqueline Kennedy in the new movie "Jackie." The film was shown as part of the New York Film Festival this week. Portman already has a best actress Academy Award for the 2010 ballet film "Black Swan." In her new film, she plays Jackie Kennedy in the days immediately after the 1963 assassination of her husband President John F. Kennedy. Portman's performance is seen as a leading contender for the February awards, as she battles conflicting emotions of grief, anger and loss of faith in the role.
"Jackie" opens in U.S. movie theaters on Deccember 2nd.
