On Thursday, Forbes released its annual list of top-earning dead celebrities, and King of Pop Michael Jackson sits at the top by a mile. Jackson, who passed away in 2009, earned an astonishing $825 million with most coming from the sale of his Sony/ATV music-publishing catalog, which brought in $750 million back in March 2016. ?Peanuts? creator Charles Schulz came in a very distant second on the list with $48 million, despite having died in 2000 at the age of 77.
