VIDEO : Star Wars Production Company Fined Almost $2 Million For Harrison Ford Injury

Foodles Production Ltd, is being fined around $2 million for an incident that left actor Harrison Ford in the hospital. The company was in charge of the production during the incident back in 2014, when Ford was filming a scene for Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Pinewood Studios, when a hydraulic door on the set came down and broke his left leg. The incident put the 71-year-old actor in the hospital and he had to undergo surgery and rehab. Judge Francis Sheridan said, "The greatest failing of all on behalf of the company is a lack of communication. If only they had included Mr. Ford in all the discussions, he might have at least been alert to the dangers that he had to avoid."
