Oscar winner Tom Hanks will have to make some more room on his trophy shelf. The Hollywood Film Awards just announced that the Forrest Gump star will be honored at this year's gala. Hanks will be given the Hollywood Actor Award for his work in the real-life drama Sully. The film was released in September of 2016. It tells the story of the investigation into airline Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger's 2009 emergency landing of a commercial flight on the Hudson River that saved the lives of the 115 passengers and crew members on board.
