VIDEO : Remembering Polish Director Andrzej Wajda

Poland is remembering Andrjez Wajda, the nation's oldest and most revered filmmaker, after news of his death on October 9th at the age of 90. He was completing his new film "Afterimage," which is Poland's submission for the best foreign-language film Oscar. Wajda made more than 40 films during his 60-year career. Many of them were inspired by the turbulent times he lived through, including wartime-set "Kanal" and post war-stories such as "Man of Marble." He never won an Academy Award, but received an honorary Oscar in 2000 for his outstanding contribution to cinema.
