John Legend helped name Ohio theater named in his honor. He was at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the recently renovated theater at the Springfield Center of Innovation: The Dome.Before it was once a high school and is now home to several education programs. Legend, is actually a Springfield native and donated $500,000 for the project. The 680-seat theater will be named the John Legend Theater. Students from multiple districts can now take courses to learn how to run a production.
