John Legend helped in the opening of an Ohio theater named in his honor. Legend was at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the recently renovated theater which includes a 680-seat center. Students from multiple districts will now be able to learn how to run a theater. Legend donated $500,000 for the project and is a springfield native himself. The Dome was once a high school and is now home to several education programs.
