Forest Whitaker is coming to the Marvel universe. The company says the Oscar-winning actor is joining the cast of "Black Panther." Whitaker plans to portray an elder statesman named Zuri from the fictional nation of Wakanda. Chadwick Boseman played Wakanda ruler T'Challa earlier this year in "Captain America: Civil War." Other notable actors in the film include Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o. "Creed" director Ryan Coogler will direct the new Marvel film.
