Matthew McConaughey's upcoming film "Gold" is already creating Oscar-buzz. has joined the ranks of the many upcoming fall/winter releases that could gain some awards recognition. McConaughey gained forty pounds to play the role of Kenny Wells, an entrepreneur who ventures into the jungles of Indonesia in search of gold. The "familiar rise and fall story" has been compared to Wolf of Wall Street with a mix of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Gold opens in theaters in the U.S. on December 25th.
