You can add yet another marquee African-American name to the cast of Marvel's upcoming superhero tentpole "Black Panther": Forest Whitaker. Hot off his upcoming appearance as the character of Saw Gerrera in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Variety is now reporting that Whitaker has joined "Black Panther," in an undisclosed role that is being kept "under wraps." Whitaker is the most recent in a long line of African Americans to join the project, helmed by "Creed" director Ryan Coogler, including Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong'o.
