Tilda Swinton finally addressed the whitewashing debate surround the upcoming Marvel movie, 'Doctor Strange.' After the trailer was released online for the film, the studios faced backlash from fans, who called Swinton's casting whitewashing. Swinton, a white british woman, plays The Ancient One, who is depicted in the comics as a Tibetan. In a recent interview with Out Magazine Swinton said she is all for increased and representative diversity. She added that she wasn't bad casting for this role, and said:"the film Marvel has made is a departure from the source material in more ways than one."
