FX has ordered a ten-episode season of John Singleton's early-80s crack cocaine drama called ?Snowfall.? The show features actor Damson Idris playing a young street entrepreneur on a quest for power. Singleton wrote the pilot. The story is set during the beginning of the crack cocaine epidemic, showcasing its radical impact on the culture. According to FX, the show follows many characters on a violent collision course. Production is set to begin next month for a 2017 debut.
