There has been "increased speculation" that Daniel Craig won't return as James Bond and many had begun wondering who would take his place. There had been rumors of Idris Elba and even talk of a female bond, with many rooting for Gillian Anderson to take on the role. The next Bond film, which doesn't have a title yet, will be the 25th Bond film. Craig is still in contract for one more film, but has an option to "step away early if he so chooses.
