VIDEO : Takashi Miike To Direct Live-Action 'JoJo?s Bizarre Adventure'

Fans of strange alternative cinema rejoice! Japanese cult director Takashi Miike (mee-keh) - the man responsible for such outrageous films such as "Audition," "Ichi the Killer," "Visitor Q" and "13 Assassins" is slated to take on the franchise, "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure." Telling the story of the Joestar family, whose various members discover they are destined to take down supernatural foes using unique powers, "JoJo?s Bizarre Adventure" was a Japanese animate adapted from the manga by Hirohiko Araki, which ran from 1993 to 1994 and was resurrected in 2012. And now Warner Brothers has announced plans to partner with Toho to produce a live-action version with the prolific Miike at the helm - no word yet on the cast or shooting schedule.
