Sofia Vergara revealed that she went to dental school before figuring out that she wanted to be an actress. During a recent appearance on Harry, the Modern Family star explained to Harry Connick Jr. why becoming a dentist seemed like the right idea for her at the time, stating " I wanted to be a doctor" adding, ?but being a doctor takes so much time, years of studying. It?s difficult. So the next best thing for me at that time was to be a dentist. So I went to dentist school, but I didn?t finish.? She said, ?I went for two years,? she added, before admitting that she never got the chance to actually work in anyone?s mouth. Instead, she?s now the highest-paid TV actress.
