Bruce Springsteen?s ?The River Tour? has officially topped the list as the highest grossing tour of 2016 so far.
CBS News recently caught up with the 'Blinded By the Light' penman in his hometown of Freehold, New Jersey to talk about his rise from the streets of a small town to rock and roll super stardom.
Springsteen started his first band when he was 15. He said of his youthful ambition, "I wanted to be great, you know. That was all that mattered to me was, how good can I get? And I was ready to sacrifice everything else to find out.?
In his new autobiography, Born To Run, Springsteen writes, ?My voice was never going to win any prizes. So that left the songs. The songs would be my fireworks.?
