The director of ?8 Mile,? Curtis Hanson passed away this Tuesday and was found in Hollywood Hills. Hanson passed from old age. During his career Hanson won an Oscar for his Best Adapted Screenplay in 1997. His other film credits included, ?L.A. Confidential,? ?The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,? and ?Wonder Boys.? Hanson was originally born in Reno, Nevada in 1945, and he passed away at 71 years old.
