At the world premiere for 'The Girl on the Train', actress Emily Blunt opened up about the novel and film, and how the story touches on aspects of motherhood. Blunt said that she thinks women can relate to any of the characters in the film. She mentioned the societal pressures on women when it comes to motherhood, and said: "It makes women feel that they have to be a bit defensive about the choices they make ? whether they want to be a mother or whether they don't, whether they want to breastfeed or whether they don't. I could go on and on."
