In a statement Tuesday, actor Brad Pitt said that he is "saddened" by his split from Angelina Jolie, who filed for divorce this week. The 'Fight Club' star added, "What matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time." According to the court filing obtained by Access Hollywood, Jolie, who cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the breakup, wants physical custody of the couple's six children. According to The Associated Press, Robert Offer, Jolie's attorney, said the decision was made "for the health of the family."
