Following CEO Christopher Bailey's February announcement that come September the fashion house would present a 'seasonless' collection of fashionwear available for immediate purchase, the "See now, buy now" age has begun at Burberry. On Monday, male and female models walked in a show live-streamed on the Burberry website, Facebook and YouTube. In conjunction with the show, Burberry also offered live customer service facilities via Facebook Messenger for buyers eager to purchase what was on display. A gaggle of fashion editors, online journalists and celebrities packed a London bookshop in the Soho neighborhood to experience the event, which included an exhibition of artisans and craftspeople -- including saddlers, embroiderers, scentmakers and bookbinders -- that will remain in the space for another week. Additionally, copies of Virginia Woolf's gender-bending novel 'Orlando' were left for each guest, telling the story of the titular protagonist, born into the body of a man, who later transforms into a woman.
