Julia Louis-Dreyfus stands to break or tie three Emmy records this year. If she wins for her role as Selina Meyer in VEEP, she will tie Don Knotts, Ed Asner, and Candice Bergen for winning the most Emmys while playing the same character. It would also mean that she will have the most wins for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy category. If that wasn't enough, if Dreyfus does in fact, win her seventh all-around Emmy, she would tie in second place for the most acting Emmy wins. Cloris Leachman holds the record for most Emmy wins by an actor or actress.
